Die Gleitfläche hat je nach ausgewähltem Berechnungsstandard eine andere Form:
- Ebene Gleitfläche - Standard, AASHTO - Extensible, FHWA NHI-10-024
- Gebrochene Gleitfläche - AASHTO - Inextensible, JTGD30 - 2015 Highway China Code, TB 10025 - 2019 Railway China Code, BS 8006 - Coherent Gravity Method.
