Modulus of Subsoil Reaction Specified by Dilatometric Test (DMT)
Modulus of subsoil reaction kh [MN/m3] is determined by the following formula:
where: | kh | - | modulus of subsoil reaction [MN/m3] |
MDMT | - | constrained modulus obtained from DMT [MPa] | |
B | - | characteristic length of the sheeting structure (coefficient of reduction) [1 rm] |
Values of coefficient B are depending on the depth of the excavation H [m], constrained modulus MDMT [MPa], and spacing of props.
