Plate Load Test
The plate load test is used to verify the deformation characteristics and to determine the compaction of the subsoil.
The test is of two types:
- For road construction (A)
- For railways (B)
The measurement consists of recording the settlement of the slab for certain contact stress and subsequent relief. The measurement is carried out in two cycles.
The measurements usually result in the transformation moduli Edef,1, Edef,2 and their ratio.
Output protocol of Plate Load Test (A)
